Mr. Walters owned and operated the H & R Block franchises in Orange City and Deltona until his retirement. He loved to travel in his motor home and was an accomplished musician and enjoyed dance bands. He was married to his wife Pat for 58 years.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years; Pat; a son, James R. (Diane) Walters, Jr.; two daughters, Karen (Al) Mair and Linda (Steve) Ferrante; a grandson, Christopher Walters and his dog, Gretta.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 2nd at 11:00 am at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, FL, PH: 386-775-4260 with Pastor Paul Yedmans officiating.
