Dear John:

Your Dad's passing has brought up so many good memories that I hardly know where to start. It all started for me in the 1950's ! He blessed all of us with his wisdom great attitude and dedication . It goes on and on. ALL GOOD!

You are blessed to have had him for your Dad!

I never met your Dad, but from knowing you and reading his story I can see he was a great and caring man.
He touched the lives of many and served our country well. I thank him for his service, and John, yours as well. He is now at peace

May God Bless you for loving and caring for my Uncle Joe. Our memories are full of laughter and lots and lots of Italian meals cooked with gusto in your home in Cambria Heights, NY.! We also cherish family Thanksgiving celebrations at our homes in Florida and all the baked goods your toted! Today was a beautiful celebration of Uncle Joe's life shared by family, friends, Sons of Italy and the Military ceremonies. Farewell for now Uncle Joe. We are so blessed to be in your dash 1918-2015

John, although I never met your Dad, knowing you, he was a wonderful man. He was blessed to have you for a son and you to have him as a Dad. What a wonderful life your family has lead. A loss yes, but so much lives on because of his life.

A good man, he will be missed by many.  So sorry for your loss.

Joe and Mary were great role models to Geoff and Mike - I will be forever grateful to them for that.  Although our relationship ended, I wish the best for Mary in this difficult and heartbreaking time.

God bless Joe. He led a long and wonderful life. Yet we are so sorry to see him go. Joe was the best of the best. So many fond memories and a key part of so many of our lives as we were growing up and learning from his guidance and example. Although we haven't seen him in years, felt like he was always there. He'll be missed.

A very kind and caring person who had a smile for all he met.  I remember him sharing a bowl of candy every night at bingo.  He will be missed truly by his loving wife, his son, John, and his extended family and many friends.  R.I.P.

A person of dignity and kindness. Knew Joe for only 11 years, but it was a pleasure being his friend. Will miss you my friend.

A loving husband, father and grandfather who loves his bingo. Always will remember your smiling and caring face.

I remember Joe Olivieri from his New York days, when he devoted so much of his time to a neighborhood musical youth activity, the St. Catherine of Siena Queensmen Drum and Bugle Corps. His kindness and generosity were very much appreciated by us all. God bless him and his family.
