Lynn Eugene Rudd Sr.

Lynn who was 82, died Thursday (November 16th) following a lengthy battle with cancer. Lynn was born on June 16, 1935 in Plainfield, New Jersey, the son of Maurice Arlington Rudd and Verna Ada Rudd. He was a long time native resident of North Plainfield, New Jersey and spent many years in Clinton, New Jersey before moving to Florida in 1993.

Lynn was a professional truck driver and drove millions of miles over his long career to provide for his family. Lynn was also a proud Marine, a Mason, and a member of the American Legion (Post #0127). Above all else, Lynn was a loving and caring husband, father and friend and was a consummate gentleman.

Lynn is survived by his wife Suzanne Kathryn Rudd of over 60 years, his son Lynn Eugene Rudd, Jr. and two grandchildren, Stefani Lynn Rudd and Meghan Suzanne Rudd. Lynn is preceded in death by his beloved daughter Suzanne Rudd Gyorfi and his sister Arlene McCoy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Lynn will be greatly missed but forever remembered and loved.
