With heavy hearts the Melecio family regrets to announce the passing of our beloved Manuel Melecio, affectionately known as Goro. Manuel lived a long, beautiful and accomplished life. He was a World War 2 Veteran and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Manuel's warm heart, compassionate soul, and quiet sense of humor will be deeply missed.
He is survived by the love of his life, Carmen; his loving daughter and her husband, Ileana and Angel Acevedo; three beloved grand-daughters and husband: Ilia, Ana, Alexandra and John Diaz; and three great-grandchildren: Diego, Lena and Elia.
He will be greatly missed by his loving family and always remembered in their hearts.
A visitation for Manuel will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home.
