In loving memory of Manuel Roguy Silva “Ray” of Deltona, FL who passed away on September 15, 2014, at age 74. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Sue Silva; children, Bobbie Rae Johnson, Gerald Keith Silva, Stephanie Malm, Philip Crotwell and Danny Crotwell; 14 grandchildren;3 great-grandchildren; brother, Francisco (Gloria) Silva; sister, Peby Silva; nieces and nephews. Ray was born November 23, 1939 in Ponce, PR, the son of the late Pedro and Bienvenida Serra Silva.
He served proudly in the US Army as a Paratrooper. After moving to Florida, he was a successful businessman in the construction industry in Volusia County for many years. Ray was an active member of the Central Fellowship Baptist Church in Lake Helen, enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, travelling, boating, fishing, sailing, flying and the Tampa Bay Rays.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Central Fellowship Baptist Church, 626 East Kicklighter Rd., Lake Helen, FL.
