He was born in Dallas, Texas to Michael and Annunziata 'Nancy' (Marinucci). His family moved to Corona, New York when he was three years old. In 1993 he and the family relocated from West Hempstead, NY to Deltona, Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Angela (Lenna), his three children and their spouses/significant others: Michele (Amoroso) and John Sobol, Rachel Amoroso and Rob Fox, Michael and Jayme (Magalhaes) Amoroso, five adored grandchildren: Elyse, Kaila, CJ, Emily, William and his sister Emily (husband Joe) Parzych of Yorktown Heights, NY.
Mike started, owned, and operated several businesses in his lifetime. He retired as an auditor for Edy's Ice Cream. In his retirement he spent the winter months bringing joy to everyone as Santa.
Michael knew no stranger and everyone who met him had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. He was completely selfless. He was a dedicated parishioner at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church. 'Do not worry about tomorrow, God is already there'
