Walter W. Plakyda, age 92, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Deltona Health Care. Walter was a retired tool and die maker for Westinghouse with over 30 years of service.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Dora Plakyda; his daughter, Chrystyna Harpluk and 3 grandchildren, Adriana, Sonia and Victor.
Friends will be received at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City 386-775-4260 on Monday, February 3rd from 12 - 1 pm, where a service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m.
