Gladys Laylon Beasley Snellgrove Ellis, age 91 of Orange Park FL, died September 17, 2012, at Doctors Lake Medical Facility of Orange Park. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, September 20, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, FL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at Pine Crest Memory Gardens in Moultrie, GA. She was born November 24, 1920 in Moultrie, GA, the daughter of the late George Lester and Mary Rebecca Beasley. She was a member of the Biltmore Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL. She is survived by her husband, Wade Gillen Ellis, Jr. of Orange Park and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your favorite charity in honor of Gladys.
