Jack Alton Hubbard, born June 4, 1938, passed on May 10, 2026, at the age of 87. He was a resident of Jacksonville, Florida. Throughout his 87 years, Jack’s life was marked by steady devotion, quiet generosity, and a faithful spirit that offered comfort and strength to those who knew him. His patient, selfless way of showing up for others, especially family, friends, and fellow church members—left an enduring example of what it means to live with compassion and purpose.

Church and fellowship were central to Jack’s life. He helped build three churches and was a member of New Life Baptist Church for 33 years. He also served as a Sunday School teacher for many, offering guidance with a faithful heart and a generous spirit. More than anything, he cherished being with family and friends, and he gave of himself freely steadfast in love, consistent in care, and devoted in the ways that matter most.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Heather Hubbard Malisiak; and his son in law, Darin Malisiak and sons: Jeral Owens and Mark Owens.
