Joan H. Otis

Joan was born on June 23, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio to William Buford Harbin and Ethel May (Nix) Harbin. She was proud to be a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her family was her life, raising 5 kids mostly on her own, and 3 of her grandchildren. She also enjoyed growing flowers and plants. Knowing Jesus was her greatest blessing, outside of her family. His strength is what got her through many tough times. We rejoice that she is now with Him, and no longer in pain.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents, William B and Ethel May Harbin, as well as her brother James Royce Harbin. She is survived in death by her sister, Anna Jo McGowan; her children, Deborah Morgan, Desiree Downing, Dorcas Conway, Robert Hall, Ericka Otis; her grandchildren, Michelle Nekiel, Alex Morgan, Johnny Morgan, Jesse Downing, Mark Conway, Nick Conway, Jeremy Conway, Rose Sihas, David Hall, Marissa Ardizzone, Justin Otis, Erick Groleau; her great-grandchildren, Tyler Holloway, Ashley Keitzman, Madison Morgan, Owen and Noah Downing, Katie Fenzel, Zach and William Conway, Abigal and Gracelyn Conway, Cooper and Autumn Conway, Luke and Kensington Conway, Esther Grace Otis, Shem Otis, Nicodemis Otis, Nora Lynn Groleau, Lillie Groleau, Annabelle L Ebiya, Noelle M Ebiya, Angelina P Sihas, Axl K Sihas Joel E Hall, Isaac E Hall, Gemma E Hall, Quinten Gerber, Isaac Gerber; great-great-grandchildren, Talyn and Kayleigh Holloway, Lindsey and Chloe Keitzman, Andy, Alex, and Addi Fenzel.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Church of Eleven22, 14286 Beach Blvd Suite 2, Jacksonville, Fl 32250, January 19, 2023, at 2 pm.
