Dr. Plant passed away on January 1 2015 in Jacksonville Fl. He was born and raised in Madison, Fl. He started college at University of Florida and then transferred to Veterinary School at Auburn University. He established Herschel Animal Clinic in Jacksonville Fl where he practiced Veterinary Medicine for over 4o years. He was a die hard Gator fan. He also loved his employees at Herschel Animal Clinic, clients, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Marinee Plant and daughter Leighton Plant. He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Sevor (Evans), Son, Jonathan Plant, Sister, Francis Jane Burruss (Lusby) and Grandchildren Ethan, Blake and Morgan Sevor. A visitation will be held on Monday January 12, 2015 from 12pm -2pm and funeral services will begin at 2pm at Hardage – Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home in Orange Park, Fl.
