Judy Ann Bentley, age 75, passed away on Sunday May 2, 2021 in Orange Park, Florida. Judy was born October 23, 1945 in Hickory, North Carolina to Charles and Mildred Lowdermilk. Judy worked in administration for the United States Government, and retired after 30 years of dedicated service. She was married to Robert D. Bentley, who proudly served in the United States Navy. Judy was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply and sorely missed.
Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Bentley. She is survived by her daughters Jennifer Herrera and Keri Gaber; her son, Joshua Bentley; granddaughters Sarah Herrera, Chloe Gaber, Cameryn Herrera; sisters Millie Jean Hart and Melinda Sheets; nephew, Michael Lowdermilk; niece, Korey Short; and great-grandson, Leo Chang.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at Hardage-Giddens Rivermead, 127 Blanding Boulevard, Orange Park, FL 32073. Dr. Timothy E. McDaniel will serve as officiant of services. Judy will be placed to rest at the Jacksonville National Cemetery at a later date with her husband, Robert.
