

Mahlon Edward “Bud” Husselton, 83, went home to his heavenly reward on October 24, 2016 in Orange Park, FL. Bud was an electrical engineer whose many innovations can be found in today’s modern day garage doors and operators. After retirement, he found fulfillment in repairing and refinishing antique furniture and clocks. Throughout his lifetime, Bud gave much of himself in support of his church and his faith. He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 61 years, Jane Husselton. Together they raised 3 daughters: Nancy (Michael) Marcet, Diana Husselton and Carol (Steven) Williams. He always made sure his “4 girls” were safe and taken care of. He also has 3 grandchildren: Scott (Haixia) Beam; Jayne (Joe) Martinez, Grant Williams; and 5 great grandchildren, who were his pride and joy. He is also survived by 5 loving sisters and multiple nieces and nephews. Family will receive guest 10:30-11:30 AM on Friday October 28, 2016 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERMEAD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL. Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Friday, October 28 at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
