Norman Ross Neiger, age 57 passed away September 12, 2012. He was born in Downey, California and moved to Duval County 10 years ago. He was a U.S Air Force veteran and worked for Green Cove Springs Junior High School for 6 years. He was preceded in death by his sister Vi Squieri. Survivors include his wife Deanna Neiger, son Rick Neiger, daughter Judie Neiger, 2 step-sons James and Jason Forbis, 2 brothers Harold and Robert Neiger, 4 sisters Barbara Morrissey, Judy Emmons (Ted), Lenora Lucas (Bob) and Katherine Schultz, 6 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church. Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Hibernia Baptist Church, Fleming Island, with Rev. Scott Yirka officiating. Reception to follow at the church. Burial with military honors, will be Monday, September 24, at 11:00 AM in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
