Patricia T. Raiford, age 81, passed away December 16, 2011. She was born in Hartford, Connecticut and had lived in Orange Park since 1972. She was a retired teacher of Robert E.Lee High School, a member of the ZTA Sorority, an avid tennis player, line dancer, and loyal FSU Fan. She is survived by her husband of 57 years John F. Raiford, 2 sons Thomas J. (Mary) and Robert W. (Suzanne) Raiford, daughter Barbara Ann Grogan, sister Frances Popstojanovic-Holmstrom, 5 grandchildren Lee, John, Tyler, Marissa, and Skylar. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, she will always be remembered for her love of life and people and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, 1649 Kingsley Ave. Orange Park, with Fr. James R. Boddie, Jr., officiating.
