Raymond “Ray” D. Meeks, age 94 of Orange Park, Florida passed away in the early morning of December 25, 2025. Ray was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a graduate of Andrew Jackson Senior High and received a bachelor’s degree in Theology from Arlington Baptist College (University). Ray served in the United States Army before beginning his career at HJ Heinz Company.
Ray will be fondly remembered as a kind, god-fearing man and will be dearly missed. He joins Sunny, his beloved wife of 60 years who previously passed. He is survived by his two daughters: Melissa (David) O'Kelley and Lori Maxwell (David DeMello), 2 grandchildren: Megan (Sean) Reynolds and Travis Maxwell, great granddaughter: Salem Maxwell, niece: Sandy Manning; and a host of extended family and friends.
