Ronald Duane Todd Sr.

Rev. Todd graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO, in 1961. From that time, he served in various pastoral roles, including lead pastor and associate pastor of several independent Baptist churches in Jacksonville and Live Oak, Florida. In his fifty years of active ministry, he touched a countless number of lives. He continued to touch lives up until his last moments this side of Eternity. He loved spending Saturday afternoons watching his Florida Gators football team. He is survived by his beloved wife, Helen Todd; two sons: Ronald Todd, Jr., (Sharon) and Mark Todd (Cathy); one daughter: Teresa Todd Shank (Carey); two brothers: Rev. Robert Todd (Margaret), and Rev. Richard Todd (Lynda); three sisters: Marie Todd Behm (Tom), Arlene Todd Eminisor, and Sylvia Todd Lee (Dennis); five grandchildren: Ronald "Trey" Todd III (Amanda), Lindi Michelle Todd, Rebekah "Dani" Todd Fischer (Jeffrey), Zachary Todd Shank (Emily), and Lauren Todd Nixon (Devon); and four great-grandchildren: Colby Tanner Todd, Kyleigh Grace Fischer, Logan Carter Todd, and Ashlyn Grace Todd. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents: Robert Ernest Lee Todd and Lula Adelle Hodges Todd; sister: Marilyn Todd Austin; and great-grandson: Caleb Tucker Todd. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday October 22, 2016 at First Coast Baptist Church, 7587 Blanding Blvd. Jacksonville, Florida 32244 with visitation from 9:30-11:00 AM.
