I am sorry to heard the news. My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Bill Green family. He was a great person, Director, Assistant Director of the DEP Office, and great co-worker. He will be missed by his family and friends. May God receive him in His armrs.

Blessings to Bills' beloved family. 
Bill, in school was a friend. Bill was just Bill and when it came to ball playing he was always telling me to practice, practice. I told I did that but never got much better and he said I was ok.  We reconnected as old Air Force friends on the Internet. Such a nice guy. He will be missed.

This wonderful friend that I never met  in person will be truly missed. Graduating 2 years earlier than Bill from Poplar Bluff High School, I can't recall ever meeting him. (Remember that vast gap between sophomores and seniors?) But we became friends via the Poplar Bluff High School Alumni group on Facebook. With Bill's wild sense of humor and mine, we constantly traded witticisms. I always knew that when I posted something zany it wouldn't be long until Bill posted a LIKE and a response that would really add to it  or top it. We also shared a love of photos of military aircraft  the current cover photo of the B-2 bomber on his Facebook page came from one of my postings in February. I consider Bill a valuable friend and will miss him greatly.

My prayers and deepest condolences are with all of you in his beloved family. Whenever the tears of sorrow begin to flow, just think back on all those wonderful memories he left for you and all the funny things he said, or did. Your tears will then change to those of happiness and laughter. Bill wouldn't want it any other way. May God bless and keep all of you.

Green Family:

I remember Bill well.  He was a great leader in our administration at Fla. Dept. of Environmental Protecting in the Northeast District for many years.  Once we had no director and Bill stepped up like the trooper that he was and kept the wheels on the bus going round and round until a Director was appointed.  Bill was still second in command and kept everyone in line in the administration.  Thank you Bill.  I missed you when you left and I miss you now.  Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you (Green Family), as you prepare to send Bill to his Eternal Heavenly Home.

Our condolences and prayers go out to Chris, Mark and the family. Bill and BJ are together again. Bill loved his family and country and will be missed. Our CACI crew must have eaten lunch together with Bill  at Sonny,s hundreds of times.  Every time I ride thru the old neiborhood I remember those days.

My sincere condolences to Bill's family.  He was a great guy and a good friend.  I'll never forget him pulling up to Bluff Lanes driving that brand new red Ford Mustang when they first came out.  He was the man!  He and Billie Jo were a great couple.  Bill will surely be missed.
