Betty J. Gordon

Betty was a registered x-ray technician and in 1951 she married Jack and became a homemaker. Their son, Robert, was born in 1954. In 1958 they moved to Illinois. While there, Betty volunteered at Cook County Hospital, and in 1970 was a member of Palos Presbyterian Church. After moving to Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 1977, she volunteered at N.C. Memorial Hospital and was a member of University Presbyterian Church. In 1984 Betty and Jack moved to Williamsburg and joined Williamsburg Presbyterian Church. She and Jack volunteered for Colonial Williamsburg for 25 years.

Betty is survived by her son, Robert (Karen), and two grandchildren Dr. Christie Gordon Trogu (Todd), Eric Robert Gordon, and a niece and nephew.

At her request, there will be no funeral.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a favorite charity.
