James Joseph Hill passed away on April 4, 2026, at the age of 78. He was born on March 1, 1948. Loving husband of 55 years to Mariannne Hill (nee Magliano); beloved father of Traci (Dan Swift) Hill and Jack (Naomi) Hill; cherished grandfather of Anthony, Sophia, Mia and Zach; great-grandfather of Miguel; dear brother of Mary Alice Merck, Jackie Quatse and Sue (Mike) Tully; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Alice Hill.
Visitation for James will be Thursday, April 16th, 2026 from 8:30 am until the time of Prayers at 10:30 am at Orland Funeral Home, 9900 W. 143rd Street in Orland Park, IL. Mass to follow at St. Michael Catholic Church, 14327 Highland Avenue in Orland Park at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
