Joseph Oskvarek, devoted husband of 46 years to Vivienne Oskvarek (née Thompson), passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. He was the cherished stepfather of Eric Kuczek and proud step-grandfather of Alexander Kuczek.
Joseph honorably served his country in the United States Army, Air Cavalry Division. A man of deep character and unwavering dedication, he spent his life working hard to provide for those he loved. As a skilled machinist, Joseph was known for his craftsmanship and tireless work ethic.
Joseph had a gift for bringing joy to those around him. With his sharp wit and warm sense of humor, he never missed a chance to make someone smile. He approached life with a light heart and a strong spirit, always putting his family first.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A simple gathering will occur on Wednesday June 25th, 2025 at Orland Funeral Home 9900 W. 143rd Street, Orland Park, IL 60462 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm.
