Peter Carl Pfeiffer

Peter Carl Pfeiffer Peter Pfeiffer, age 46, passed away in Homer Glen, IL on July 5th 2017 after a three-year battle with lung cancer. Pete was born on November 23rd 1970 in LaGrange, IL. He grew up in Homer Glen and graduated from Lockport Township High School. He attended classes at Joliet Junior College. Pete had spent many years as a truck driver in the construction and fuel delivery industries. Most recently he was employed at Crown Concepts in Morris where he worked to design and fabricate material handling systems. Pete loved the outdoors and had been on many camping trips with family and friends. He enjoyed fishing and spent a summer working for an outfitter in the Boundary Waters of northern Minnesota. He liked stock car racing, was a fan of NASCAR, and had spent a summer working at Santa Fe Speedway in Hinsdale IL. Peter is survived by his four daughters; Joann Elizabeth, Amy Marie, Melissa Jeanette, and Carly Ann, all of Dubuque, IA; his parents, Norman and Mary Pfeiffer of Homer Glen, IL; brothers Daniel of Denver, CO and Eric (Carol) of Naperville, IL; his nieces Brinn Pfeiffer and Megan Pfeiffer of Denver, and nephew Timothy Pfeiffer of Naperville. A time of visitation and a memorial service will be held from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday August 18th at the Orland Funeral Home. Visitation beginning at 3:00 PM; Memorial Service at 5:00 PM
