Richard Victor Abramowicz, age 74, of Chicago, Texas, and Tennessee, US Marine Veteran, passed away on December 20, 2021. Loving husband of Claire; Beloved father of Michelle (Ed) Kurley and April Abramowicz; Cherished grandfather of Emily and Jacob; Dear brother of Ronald (Cheryl) Abramowicz, Kathleen (the late Joseph) Wydajewski, Linda (the late Thomas) Heiy, the late Steve (Sara) Abramowicz, and William (Ayleen) Abramowicz; Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Bruno and Geraldine Abramowicz.
Visitation for Richard will be on Friday, January 7, from 3-8 PM, at Orland Funeral Home, 9900 W 143rd St, Orland Park. Funeral to begin at 9 AM on Saturday, January 8, at Orland Funeral Home proceeding to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 8404 S Cass, Darien, for a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery.
