Amile was born in Elizabeth, N.J. and formerly resided in Linden , N.J. She moved, with her husband Joseph, to Orlando, Florida in 2004. She received her nursing degree from Seton Hall in 1967 and worked at Rahway Hospital as a Nursing Supervisor in the Emergency Room. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother, member of the Linden Ceramics Club and co-founder of both the Linden Lanes Junior Bowling Leagues and Nationwide Junior Bowling Tour. In her retirement, she enjoyed raising canaries and growing orchids. Surviving are her beloved husband, Joseph F. Hegedus, son Joseph A. and his wife Sharon Hegedus, sister Eugenia and her husband Gerald Mercadante, and sister Helen and her husband Charles Ginex. Also survived by nieces Gabrielle and Juliette Mercadante and Brittany Ginex and nephews Anthony Mercadante and Charles, Anthony, and Bryce Ginex.
