Barbara W. Silverman, of Orlando, passed away on May 20, 2014. Barbara was born on December 28, 1921 in Romania to Borah and Yetta (Kravitz) Wexler. When she was a baby she immigrated to the United States with her mother and 6 brothers and sisters where they settled in New York City. She raised her family in Cherry Hill, New Jersey where she was surrounded by friends and family. Her house had an open door policy. Everyone was welcome and made to feel as part of the family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Edwin Silverman; Sons, Charles (Linda) Silverman and William (Dottie) Silverman; Grandchildren, Jenifer, Brian, Susan, Steven, Ellie, Michael and Allison and Great Grandchildren Cassidy, Nathan and Mallory.
Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery (Bushnell, FL).
