Ben (Buddy) was born to B.I. Mishaw, Sr. and Ruth Louise Strickland on August 6th, 1934 in Socastee, SC. He later joined the US Air Force and retired after 20 years of service as a Tech Master Sergeant and then retired as a security guard at Sea World Orlando with 15 years of service.
Ben is survived by his wife, Shirley Mishaw for the last 16 years, one daughter, Karie Van Maanen (Harlen) of Sioux Falls, SD, one son, Mark Mishaw (Lori) of Aberdeen, SD, Ben's gang of five grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many other people that have touched his live in some way.
Ben was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and sister.
His last wish was to be cremated and remains shared with his family.
