Brian Wesley Adams

34, passed away May 5, 2014 in Orlando, FL. Brian was born June 20, 1979 in Keokuk, Iowa. He was a veteran of the United States Navy; serving in the Iraq War as an Electronic Tech. on Nuclear Submarines for 8 yrs. Officer Adams has been working as a Correctional Officer for Coleman Federal Correctional Institute for the past 4 yrs. Brian was an excellent family man and was a great husband and father. He enjoyed fine dining and was an excellent cook himself. Brian took great pleasure in entertaining and spending time with his family and friends. He loved playing his guitar, playing poker and was an avid movie buff as well as a big Green Bay Packers fan. Brian is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Renee Adams; beloved son, Wesley Clarence Adams; mother, Jacqueline Bair (Robert) of Keokuk, IA, grandparents, C.E. and Joy Adams of Keokuk, IA, and Peggy Bair of Camp Point, IL; siblings, Melanie Adams of Charlotte, NC, Jeffery Bair (Jaime) and Lauren Adams both of Keokuk, IA; nieces and nephews, Skyler Fleck, Ryan Bair, and Jackson Bair; mother-in-law, Ellen Bartlett of Venice, FL; father-in-law, Douglas Bowman (Deborah) also of Venice, FL; brother-in-law, Chris Steffes (Shelley) of Madison, WI; sister –in-law, Ashley Bowman of Orlando, FL and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Edward Adams, grandfather, Russell Bair and grandparents, Matha and Jack Kraus.
