My condolences to the entire family.  Carmen as well as her mom and dad, Manuel and "Titi" Carmen, were a big part of my family growing up.  They would come over to our home on weekends on a frequent basis or we would go to their home.  It was always fun and intriguing to be around the Miranda family.  They brought the feeling of family and togetherness to our family as well as many special memories.  I will always remember Christmas and New Year's gatherings with all the families present including Carmen's mom, "Titi" Monse, Juja (my mom), Cambucha, sis Nancy and so many more loving family.  Especially dear to my heart was when we would have get togethers at Pete and Nancy's house and that infamous basement.  I can't think of any family who had more special gatherings and special times then ours and Carmen was always there to add her warm smile, wit and laughter.  She was a strong, devoted daughter, cousin and friend to so many.  I don't think she knew how much I looked up to her and admired her when I was a young boy.  I have so many good memories of her.  One I will never forget was when George and her were going to start a band singing and practiced at my house on fifth Ave.  I was around 10 years old and remember her singing so beautiful.  I also admired her husband Joe who was always a warm, gentle spirit and gentelman.  They don't know this but I was very sad as s boy when they moved to New Jersey to start a new life there.  
Joe and Carmen left an excellent example to many of what it means to be committed and dedicated in marriage and how to sacrifice everything as a couple.   I most admired how close they were as an immediate family and took care of their parents the way it's supposed to be done.  
Jennifer and Kelly were such a blessing and gift to them and Carmen was so proud of them.  I pray the Lord grant the entire family peace and love and hold Carmen dear to their hearts as they say goodbye to a dear mom, friend and Cousin.  Sincerely, Eddie DelValle

To my Godmother. You were such a special and loving person. A great mother, grandmother, godmother and cousin. You have always been so kind and loving to me since I was a child. My heart is crushed as I write this I cant believe I will not see u here on earth again. Even though I would not see u for months at a time we never skipped a beat when we were together whether we talked about the yankees, sports or whatever. I hope you can read this from heaven I just want to let you know I love you with all my heart and I am going to miss you sooooo much. I know you loved the Lord Jesus and that u are at peace with Him and that one day Lord willing we will meet again. Love you 


My heart is very heavy. Carmen was a wonderful, caring, and most of all a giving woman. I will always remember her smile, her embrace when I came into the family. She loved my daughter Gabriella so much, whenever we went to Florida she had Disney tickets waiting for Gabbie to attend all of the Disney parks. The world lost an Angel. My heart goes out to the entire family. Gabriella and I will LOVE You all ALWAYS! Sending you all Love, Light, and Prayers. Rest In Peace Carmen. Your presence will be missed. I share many years with Carmen the choir at the Sundays Mass. She was always there when I arrive with her smile, then same she has in the pictures, and ready for me to help with what they practiced during the week because I can't assist to practice on Wednesday. She knew my face very well if I got lost looking for help with the verses to sing! Her folder, always super organize !! Always cooperative, welcoming,  asking for my kids and wife, and I enjoyed her telling to me about her trips to NY to visit the family.
Beautiful person, should be a reason why God calls some nice people sooner. I am gonna miss her, but always with her smile and positive attitude.

Carmen was a very beautiful person - inside and out.  Her positive attitude and that smile was always there to cheer you up, encourage you, and make you laugh. Carmen was great with children. I fondly remember attending a Solar Bears event with my kids and she was there.  They were shooting t-shirts into the stand and she kept trying to hit them towards my kids as they tried to catch them. 

To her family, my heart truly aches for you.  Thank you for sharing this special woman with me and my family. Family meant the world to Carmen and she made us feel like family.
