Carolyn was a highly skilled debater in High School and went on to attend the Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas. She was an avid reader throughout her life but most of all she would love spending time with her family.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Gary Douglas LeAndre Sr. her daughter, Michele (Will) Anson of Raleigh, NC, a son Gary (Mary) LeAndre of Newnan, GA, two granddaughters, Kaitlin and Megan Anson, as well as her parents and two brothers, Hank (Eunice) Harwell of Harrisonburg VA and Mark (Jan) Harwell of Irving Texas.
