Charles was born to his parents, Alma and Henry Carballo, January 26, 1957 in Ft. Jay, New York, being next to the youngest of six children. He joined the U.S. Army in 1974 and served for two years, and was given an Honorable Discharge. Upon leaving the military he continued his federal career service with U.S. Immigrations, Federal Bureau of Corrections and the U.S. Postal Service, which he retired. He enjoyed home repair projects and working on cars.
On June 13, 1981, Chares was united in holy matrimony to Gwendolyn Carballo, to this union three children were born; two sons and one daughter.
He leaves to mourn their loss: his wife, Gwendolyn Carballo; two sons, Charles R. Carballo, Jr and Curtis F. Carballo; one daughter, Amanda L. Westbrook; one granddaughter, Gabriella L. Carballo; three grandsons, Curtis J. Carballo, Noah S. Westbrook, Julius A. Westbrook; two brothers, Tony F. Carballo, Henry E. Carballo; one sister, Alma P. Simpson; three nieces and six nephews; two son-in-laws, Jeremy Westbrook and Jorge Humberto Robles Osorio, and one sister-in-law, Kim Castro Carballo; and numerous cousins and friends.
Charles will surely be missed by all those that knew him.
