GREGORY, EDWIN "MAX", Mr. E. "Max" Gregory entered the arms of God Wednesday evening, completing a full and rich life as a devoted husband, father, "Papaw" and friend to many. His caring ways, generosity, kindness and Christian life will be missed by the many who loved and respected him. He was known for being plain-spoken and direct, and there truly was "only one Max." Those who knew him were better for it. Following retirement from the insurance industry, Max enjoyed his grandchildren, bluegrass music, the mountains of North Carolina and West Virginia, and garage sales. He was a mainstay at local Gospel meetings and a true student of the Bible, always ready to preach when the opportunity arose. Born on Sept. 6, 1920, Max was married to his late wife, Irene, for 57 years. He is survived by his daughter, Vikki Kline; son-in-law, Ralph Kline; and grandchildren
Kalee and Gregory Kline; all of Orlando. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., preceded by visitation at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando. Please visit our website at www.careyhandcolonialfh.com to offer online condolences
