Edwin Joseph Prusak, 89, of Orlando, passed away on January 10, 2017. He was born in Blasdell, NY on July 26, 1927 to the late Frank and Barbara Prusak. Ed was the Valedictorian of his graduation from Blasdell High. He served in the U.S. Navy in W.W. II. He attended the University of Buffalo on a Veteran’s scholarship in 1947 graduating with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He attended Rollins and U.F. as a graduate student, worked as a professional engineer at Lockheed Martin and T.R.W. Systems. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and tennis player, and enjoyed volunteering at Disney and Arnold Palmer golf tournaments. He was a founding father of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, President of the Men’s Club, a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Chairman of the Parish Counsel, and a member of the American Legion. He married Trudy Rosinski in 1952, and they have 3 children, David (Linda); Nancy; and Christopher (Cheryl), plus 4 granddaughters, Kristin; Tori, Cassi and Lexi, whom he adored. A memorial service will be held at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church on January 14, 2017 at 10:00 AM with visitation one hour before Mass.
