George Joseph Twomey, Jr. also known as “Sonny” to some, passed away on Monday 21st 2016 in Orlando, FL. He was born to George and Susan Twomey in Waltham, Mass. on October 17th, 1929. He served in the Army during the Korean War. After leaving the service he worked as a carpenter and truck driver for the remainder of his career.George lived in Warner and Contoocook, New Hampshire then retired to Florida where he lived with his wife Mary Twomey, until her passing in 2009.George is survived by his step daughter, Tanis Thompson, son-in-law, Phil Thompson, grandchildren Nicole and Nicholas Thompson, two great grandchildren, and cousins.
