

She was born in Brooklyn, New York, on November 21, 1932, to Salvatore Faiella and Giovannina Ventresca Faiella, originally from L’Aquila, Italy. Gloria was the youngest of seven children.
Gloria was married to Charles Anzalone on September 26, 1953.
They had two children together. Charles Curtis and Marissa Jane.
Gloria was an elected official in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. She was a Committee Woman who was elected once and then won a second re-election before moving to Florida.
Now living in Orlando, Gloria was a volunteer at the Give Kids the World organization. She also worked as the Museum Assistant at Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine and Basilica for many years, ending her time there in her early eighties.
Gloria was a very generous and giving person. She was acknowledged for her exceptional generosity in providing a home for the Jean-Francois Family through the Food for the Poor Mission in Haiti.
Gloria was smart, witty, beautiful and glamorous. She was the go-to person if someone wanted wisdom and good advice. Her nickname was Yoda (and Aunt Glo) because of that special gift she possessed.
Gloria and Charles had a large circle of good friends and family where she loved to cook, bake and entertain. That was her happy place.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie, and her son, Charles Curtis.
She is survived by Daughter, Marissa, Granddaughter Christa Gloria and Grandsons Nicholas and Gennaro.
A visitation will be held at Family Funeral Care, located at 13001 South John Young Pkwy, Orlando, FL 32837, on November 2, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at Holy Family Catholic Church, 5125 S Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando, FL 32819, on November 3, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
The committal service will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Dr, Winter Park, FL 32789, on November 3, 2025, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
