

Jacqueline P. Canavan, 69, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012, after her battle with cancer, following her diagnosis on May 17, 2012. Born in Lake City, Florida on April 27,1943, Jackie grew up in Orlando and attended Colonial High School, where she was a dedicated cheerleader, and graduated in 1961. Jackie is survived by, and was the eldest child of Lloyd and Florence Mckee, she is also survived by her loving children Kellie and her husband Steve Cobert, Nicole Gibbs, and Michael Canavan, grandchildren Steven Cobert, Nicholas Cobert, Christopher Cobert, Amanda Cobert, Ryan Gibbs, and Jacob Gibbs, all of whom she loved dearly, brother Steve McKee and his wife Sandy, and her sister Kathy Hancock. She was also a beloved friend to many. Jackie enjoyed the simple things in life; like playing games, spending time with friends and family, and taking walks on the beach. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012, at 2:00 pm, at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, Florida, 32806, 407-898-2561.
