Joan E. O. Beecher-Needham

Joan attended St. Mary High School, Titchfield High School, and Camperdown High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Studies from The Universtiy of the West Indies and became a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers. She worked at FirstCaribbean International Bank, Student Loan Bureau, and Bank of America.

Joan was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Kingston, Jamaica. She loved to sing and was a vibrant member of the choir. She was a writer, a counselor, and an advisor to many.

Joan was born on June 7, 1958 to Clement S. and Cynthia J. Beecher. She is survived by her son Marlon, daughters Cherrice and Ashleigh-Jo, brothers Ruhan and Huntley, sister Lynna, brother-in-law Wilton, sisters-in-law Maxine and Dian, nieces Kamille, Kandyce, and Danielle, nephews, Matthew and Kamaleh, neice in law Darlene, grand nieces Kaylin and Gabriella, and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday July 14, 2012 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Kissimmee, 1700 North John Young Parkway, Kissimmee, FL 34741
