

Joseph “Joe” Daniel Denicola, 59, of Orlando, Florida passed away at his home on Sunday, November 11, 2012. Born September 2, 1953 in Watertown, New York, he was the son of Carmen and Dorothy Manning-Denicola. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Marie; and three brothers, Dominic, Vincent, and Carmen.
On October 18, 1975, Joe married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Grant, in Camden, New York. He retired from the United States Navy in 1993 after a twenty-three year career. Joe began a new career with Walt Disney World and retired in June 2012.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; three daughters, Cristie (Rodger) Zubarik, Rebecca Denicola, and Katie (John) Palacio, all of Orlando; three brothers, Albert (Helen) Denicola of Simpsonville, North Carolina, Anthony (Sharon) Denicola of Heavener, Oklahoma, and Ralph (Pam) Denicola of Gainesville, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Joe’s life will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Family Funeral Care, Hunter’s Creek with Rev. Ken Money officiating.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 2 - 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2012. The family suggests that memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, 237 E.
