Born on February 4, 1943, in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, Mike was the son of the late Michael Cheslock and Mary (née Rosinko). He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a sharpshooter and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal for his service.
Mike was a skilled mechanic by trade, known for his strong work ethic and ability to fix just about anything. Outside of work, he found joy in life’s simple pleasures—cruising, visiting theme parks, and spending time at the movies. He appreciated good times, laughter, and making memories with those he loved.
He shared 47 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Catherine, who preceded him in death. Their life together was filled with devotion, partnership, and enduring love.
Mike was also preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Gertrude “Dolly.”
He is survived by his siblings, Alfred “Butchie” Cheslock his children, Michael (Penny), and Karen (Rachid); his cherished grandchildren, Colton, Yasmine, Stevie, Brittney, and Kevin; and his great-grandchildren, Eric, Chase, and Wyatt, all of whom brought him great pride and joy.
Mike will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the quiet strength and kindness he carried throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
