

Norman Richard Belzer, 89, of Orlando, Florida passed away March 14, 2017. He is survived by his children, Roland (Vicki), Roger (Carol), Robyn, and Colett (Sue). He has four grandchildren Jason (Monica), Devin, Sarah and Scott. He has 5 great grandchildren Emilee, Nicholas, Noah, Derek and Jamyz. Norman also has a large extended family. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. Norman was born in Elliott, North Dakota July 11, 1927 to Arthur and Marjie Belzer. He lived in Elliott on the family farm until he went into the army in 1950. While stationed in Giessen, Germany he met his wife of 63 years, Lony. After living in the Dakotas, Norman moved to Florida in 1963. He and his oldest son, Roland began Belzer Plumbing Inc. in 1974. He turned the business over to his sons in 1995 to care for Lony until her death in 2015. Norman was a pillar of the Pine Hills Community. He enjoyed coaching, bowling, boating and sports of all kinds throughout his life. He was always there to help family and friends with projects or whatever they may have needed. If you knew Norman, you loved him. Services will be held April 8, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Quest Church in Gotha, Florida. Reception to follow at Norman’s home immediately following the service.
