Rufus F. Nelson

Rufus Fernando Nelson, 71, of Orlando, Florida passed away on April 17, 2018. He was born in St. Lucia on December 5, 1946 to the late Martineau and Mary (Deveaux) Nelson. Rufus was affectionately known as "Piac" by his family and close friends. He was a devoted member of Holy Cross Catholic Church where he was involved in the Knights of Columbus. Rufus has a great love for music. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cheeril Nelson; children, Alva, Rufus, Jr., Nicole and Sean Nelson; siblings, Marceline and Maria Nelson, Peter, Petra and Ricardo Deveaux and three grandchildren, Chloe, Nia and Skye.
