

"Frankie"
Frances, one of three children born to Joseph and Annie (Harris) Densford, entered this life on August 16, 1918 in Munford, Tennessee and entered into rest on October 20, 2010 at the age of 92 years, 2 months and 4 days in Lemon Grove, California.
She will be deeply missed by her daughters; Joann Loughlin of McKinney, Texas, Margaret Tice (Ed) of Valdez, Alaska, sons; Hugh Thomas (Susanna) of Nome, Alaska & Stephen Thomas of San Diego, California, sister; Willie Jo Scott of Clovis, New Mexico, 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; William H.Thomas in 1963, her son James H. Thomas in 2001, son-in-law; Slater Loughlin in 2009.
Frances has resided in the San Diego area for the past 14 years. She was a devoted school bus driver for Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, Florida for 24 years. Most of those years were spent transporting students to Magnolia School. Frances was fondly known at the Russell Home on Holden Avenue as "Miss Thomas". She spent many hours with her metal detector on Florida and California beaches. Frances had a “green thumb” and loved growing plants of all kinds. She enjoyed her own green house in Florida for several years.
Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM at the Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, Florida. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 11 AM at Greenwood Cemetery in Orlando, Florida.
