Steve Cormier

Steve Cormier, age 71, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on November 1st 2019. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island on May 4th 1948, the son of the late Ralph A. Cormier and Evelyn M (Hird) Cormier. He was married to Sharon (Soderlund) Cormier on April 24th 1971.

Steve worked at Wenzel America for the last 13 years. He was a member of Hitch `N’ Go Squares 082 (president), Moose and Peace UMC. He also had a passion for camping, square dancing and loving his family.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ryan John Cormier, his brother, John Cormier and a brother in law, Richard Volk.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Cormier, his son, Stephen Cormier; daughter, Amy (Cormier) Benison; sister, Mary Volk; Daughter in law, Keri Cormier; son in law, David Benison; Brother in law, Melvin Hill; grandson Ryan Cormier; grandson, Kyle Cormier; grandson, Noah Benison; Granddaughter, Brynna Benison; nieces Lynne Volk, Bethany Weygand, Christina Madden and Debbie Hill Muoio and nephew Jeff Hill.

Celebration of Life will be held at 12:30pm on Sunday November 10th 2019 at Peace United Methodist Church, 13502 Town Loop Blvd, Orlando, FL. Viewing will be held on Saturday November 9th 2019 at Family Funeral Care, 13001 S John Young Pkwy, Orlando, FL.
