Thomas William Santaniello

8 May, 1956 – 13 September, 2025
IN THE CARE OF

Family Funeral Care

Thomas William Santaniello, 69, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 8, 1956, in Newburgh, New York, Tom lived a life rooted in kindness, compassion, and a deep appreciation for the natural world. A dedicated husband, father, and friend, he brought light and calm to those lucky enough to know him.

Tom attended McArthur High School, where he was proud to be the quarterback of the football team—a role he cherished and remembered fondly throughout his life.

He began his career at Air-Ship International before joining Delta Air Lines, where he spent many years working with integrity, professionalism, and a quiet strength that earned the respect of his colleagues. In his retirement, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life—especially spending time in nature, visiting the beach, and being near the ocean, where he felt most at peace.

Spiritual by nature and generous in spirit, Tom was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. His warmth, patience, and unwavering support were constants in the lives of those he loved.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sherry Santaniello; his son, Jason Santaniello; and his daughter, Alexis Santaniello. He is preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude Santaniello; father, William Santaniello; and brother, William Santaniello. His legacy of love, empathy, and quiet strength lives on through his family.

A private celebration of life will be held with immediate family.

In remembrance of Tom, the family kindly suggests that donations be made in his honor to the Moffitt Cancer Center, a place that provided comfort and care during his final journey. Tom believed deeply in treating others with kindness and respect, cherishing nature, and living with compassion. In his memory, may we all strive to embody these values every day.
