

William or Billy as he was affectionately called was born in Providence, Rhode Island on September 28, 1928 and attended Central High School. His proudest achievement was his service in the United States Army and Marine Corp. His charismatic and outgoing personality allowed him to succeed as a salesman and as the bus driver for the Houston Astros. He was a member of the American Legion Post 242 Bithlo, FL and the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. His favorite time was spent with family and friends playing cards, hanging by the pool, painting and singing karaoke. His laughter and joy will be missed by all.
Billy is survived by his wife of 43 years, Doris Broadhead who he married on June 30, 1979 and is predeceased by his first wife Catherine Leahy whom he was married to from May 5, 1951 to May 21, 1977.
Billy is survived by his three daughters: Carol King, Patricia Campbell, Karen Farmer and his stepdaughter: Tina Dunlop. His Grandchildren: Kimberly Ruhle, Jennifer Wisneski, John Campbell III, Michael Campbell, Mark Campbell, Edward Brothers and Matthew Dunlop. His sisters: Caroline Almeida and Dorothy Schiavulli (deceased). He also has 9 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
