Carol Ann (Kupchik) Michaud, of Yarmouthport, MA, originally from New Britain, CT, passed peacefully in her sleep on the morning of June 25, 2025. A bright, personable, friendly, and cheery person, Carol made friends easily, and could talk to anyone, anywhere in an instant. She had a zest for life that showed in so many of her interests and hobbies. After raising her three children, she pursued a career in banking, becoming the first woman VP of the Bank of Boston, Hartford, CT. She retired to Cape Cod Massachusetts with her husband in the early 80s. Carol enjoyed going for walks with her dog Mindy, played golf for many years, loved to be on the back of the motorcycle with her husband Ben, enjoyed and excelled at cooking and baking, flirted with watercolor painting, was an avid seamstress in her younger years, shot archery, and loved going on bus trips to the casino’s. Her family life was important to Carol. She loved when everyone had the opportunity to visit her on Cape Cod. Beach trips and cookouts were very common in her earlier years. She was predeceased by her husband Benoit Michaud. Carol leaves behind her oldest son Michael J. Michaud, and his wife Francine of West Suffield, CT.; her daughter Donna A. O'Shea, and her husband Michael of Reading, MA; and her youngest son David L. Michaud, and his wife Susan, of Brewster, MA. She cherished all the time she had with her 5 grandsons, 5 great-grandchildren and their families. Carol was a devoted wife, mother, and good friend to so many. A private family celebration of life is planned. She will be greatly missed.
