Surviving are sons Daniel J. Currie, Richard M. Currie, John M. Currie and his wife Kathy. Also his much loved grandchildren Sarah Currie Halpern and her husband Jon, Laura Currie, Matt Currie and Heather Currie.
He served in the 750th Tank Battalion which saw action in Europe during World War 11. He was employed at G.E. and I.B.M. in New York State. He accomplished many things throughout his lifetime, including earning a commercial pilots license, building a home for his family, and starting a business; “Curries Country Furniture” in Hughsonville, N.Y.
After retiring to Cape Cod in 1988 he spent many enjoyable hours gardening,
clamming, and wood working. A favorite get away was to the Adirondacks.

Burial is private at Mass. National Veterans Cemetery in Bourne.
