

He survived his wife of 55 years, Rosemarie (Gormley), and leaves his daughter, Martha Schram and her husband, Michael, of New Canaan, Ct, son, Christopher Suits of Greenville, SC., and son, Adam Suits and his wife, Angela, of Rhinebeck, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Christopher and Caroline Schram; and many close friends.
Born and raised in White Plains, N.Y., Frank graduated from Iona Preparatory School in New Rochelle, N.Y. He sailed as third mate for the American Mail Line on the Pacific Northwest- Orient trade routes after graduating from the United States Merchant Marine Academy graduating in 1947. He graduated from Georgetown University and then served as a LT U.S. Navy on the destroyer, U.S.S. Hailey, during the Korean War where he was awarded the Korean Service Ribbon with two stars.
After his military service he received he received an MBA degree from the New York University Graduate School of Business Administration. He worked in a number of management positions at the New York Telephone Company for thirty-two years before retiring to Cape Cod in 1989. Mr. Suits served three terms on the Orleans Board of Selectmen, and subsequently chaired the Orleans Council on Aging. He was the Treasurer of the Orleans Yacht Club, a long time member of the Orleans Coffee Club and a very active communicant of St. Joan of Arc Church in Orleans. Frank was the recipient of the 2009 Marian Medal for dedicated service to the Church in the diocese of Fall River.
