Gaile Elizabeth Fish

Gaile attended North Attleboro High School and went on to earn a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from American International College. Her commitment to helping others was evident in her long career in social work, where she worked for the Department of Children and Families, retiring in 2016.

Gaile was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stephen Fish. She is survived by her son, Joseph Fish, her brother, James Connelly, and her sister, Kathleen Ouimet.

In her personal life, Gaile enjoyed painting, reading and writing poetry, and photography. She was known for her kind, caring, creative, generous, and helpful nature, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and creativity.

Visiting hours for Gaile will be held Friday, February 20, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Nickerson Funeral home, 77 Eldredge Park way, Onleans, MA 02653. Her funeral will begin in the funeral home at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Church in Orleans, Burial to immediately follow at Orleans Cemetery.
