James Andrew Stewart

James Andrew Stewart, 82, of Wellfleet, Massachusetts passed peacefully on December 26, 2023, with his loving family by his side. James was born on October 2, 1941, in Providence, Rhode Island to Andrew Stewart and Abbie N. (Northup) Stewart.

Jim was educated in the Pawtucket school system and received his B.A. from Bryant College and his M.B.A. from Providence College. He admirably served as an Airman in the United States Air Force. His career extended over four decades at various insurance companies. He received multiple accolades during his time at Sentry Insurance including Top Performer, Sales Team Leader of the Year, and Sales Manager of Distinction.

His journey in life was met with a profound love for his family, four-legged companions, and cherished friends. Jim’s true passion was following the financial markets and forever being a proud patriot.

In his later years, Jim and his wife Arden traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Arden L. (Cassick) Stewart, a son, Angus W. Stewart and wife Elizabeth of Waltham, MA, and four daughters, Brandace A. Borromeo and husband Barney of Middleborough, MA, Cassie L. Waterman of Marshfield, MA, Kimberly A. Caracciolo, and Karen M. Leite and her daughter, Kelsey Leite. He was a cherished Papa to Braden C. Borromeo, MacKenzie A. Borromeo, Harriet J. Stewart, and Winston A. Stewart. He was a loving brother and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Jim’s name. A celebration of life will be held in the late Spring 2024 in Wellfleet, MA.
