Jeffrey Thomas Lavoie

Orleans, MA – Jeffrey Thomas LaVoie passed away on November 7, 2021. He was 63. Jeffrey was born on November 1, 1958 in Bristol, CT. Jeffrey was predeceased by his parents, George “Sonny” LaVoie and Lucille (Vautour) LaVoie.

After graduation from Bristol Eastern High School, Jeffrey moved to the outer Cape. He held several local jobs in the green industry, advancing to be a certified landscaper-horticulturalist. Jeffrey started his own business “Second Nature Landscaping” in 1986. He was regarded and respected as having a natural talent by both his peers and his clients.

Jeffrey was an accomplished outdoorsman, fisherman, skier and sailor. In more recent years he could be found in Northwest CT or on Nantucket Sound. He was a man of the flora and fauna and delighted in nature. With a healthy sense of humor and handsome smile, Jeffrey would light up any room he entered. He was fun, adventurous, honorable, respectful, creative, loving and caring. His good nature was easy to be around and his lively stories made all who met him feel welcomed.

Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife, Karen, who shall dearly miss the love of her life. A celebration of Jeffrey’s life shall be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeffrey’s name to Wild Care, Inc. at 10 Smith Lane, Eastham, MA 02642, where Jeffrey and Karen contributed regularly.
